Disgusted & Disappointed

If my art that I created out of inspiration, pure joy of creating or this mysterious internal force that drove me to creating... If my art that I shared with the world, whether it was a song on Spotify or a drawing on Instagram... If my art, that I was proud to share, because I've spent hours on creating it (not mentioning hours of getting those skills). Art that I was satisfied with and thought "it's finished"...

If my art powered your AI tool of choice that you used to "create" art so you could say "I did it", then I'm disgusted. The world is full of creative and diverse talented people and yet with each day there are more applauses for generating art, which under the hood has not much to do with creating, it's simply more of a theft, just of a many, many small pieces.

And yeah, anyone with access to Internet can copy my art and call it their own, I was the one that shared it. But we wouldn't applaud, would we?

*I totally wasn't triggered by a post on LinkedIn that promoted someone's success on prompting the perfect video to a prompted song, no that was definitely not it. /s
